Own the Spindles. Build Precision.
Join our Machesney Park, IL team and help produce high-quality precision components on Acme multi-spindle screw machines. We’re a hands-on, supportive group that values initiative, accuracy, and collaboration.
Role Snapshot- Set up and run Acme multi-spindle screw machines to print.
- Verify dimensions and quality; adjust processes to maintain efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Work with teammates to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Keep the work area safe and organized in line with company policies.
- Record production metrics and escalate discrepancies to supervision.
- Quality: Consistent, accurate parts that meet customer and print requirements.
- Throughput: Optimized cycle times with minimal interruptions.
- Team Goals: Reliable collaboration to hit deadlines and commitments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining training/certification is a plus.
- Proven screw machining experience (Acme or similar multi-spindle preferred).
- Working knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and inspection.
- Fluent reading of blueprints and technical documentation.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self-directed yet highly collaborative.
- Effective communicator with a positive attitude.
