Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm CENTRAL STANDARD TIME! Standard 40 hour work week, some OT is available but not mandatory

2 year contract to hire

Customer Repair Representative

The Customer Repair Representative is responsible for providing knowledgeable, professional, and high-quality

support to customers requesting repair services or inquiring about account status. This role plays a vital part in

ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving issues efficiently and fostering strong collaboration across multiple

departments.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Provide phone support to internal and external customers regarding repair scheduling and account

inquiries.

• Quote prices and lead times for parts and repairs; respond to customer correspondence via email and

web.

• Accurately issue and process Return Authorizations (RAs), check repair order status, and maintain proper

documentation.

• Act as a key point of contact, facilitating cross-department collaboration between the Customer Support

Center and the PCB/Motor Repair, Warehouse, and Service departments.

• Offer backup support to other roles within the department as needed.

• Communicate effectively and professionally to build and maintain positive relationships with customers

and colleagues.

• Assist with technical problem-solving and provide hands-on ACD training for new team members.

• Be available to work overtime as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

• high school diploma

-3+ years of CSR, order entry, sales or parts support experience in a manufacturing, robotics/automation, automotive capacity

-Excellent written and verbal communication. Will mainly be communicating via EMAIL so they need to have great grammar, punctuation, etc.

-Great computer skills. They are working with 3 monitors and 3 different systems. Must be able to navigate through the systems and be computer literate

-Strong Microsoft Office skills, mainly outlook, excel and word

• strong multi tasking and adaptability skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills. They have thousands of part numbers they are working with

NICE TO HAVE:

• Oracle Experience

• Associate or Bachelor's degree

-Automotive/Aerospace customer service experience

-Technical hands on or even IT background is a plus

-Parts experience, Autozone, Napa Auto parts, Advance auto parts

-Working with ERP/CRM systems

-Order entry and building quotes

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hoffman Estates, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
