Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through initial consultations and ongoing evaluations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address identified issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and various other mental health disorders.

• Engage in regular one-on-one and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with coping strategies and practical tools to manage their symptoms.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in our EHR systems.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated care and make appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Participate in case reviews and team meetings to continually improve service delivery and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population of clients who may be struggling with a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. You will have the opportunity to implement evidence-based therapies and culturally responsive practices that are relevant to the unique backgrounds of each client, enhancing their treatment experience and outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Minimum four years of post-graduate experience in a mental health counseling setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in behavioral health principles.

• Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Capacity for strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
