Welder - 1st Shift
Pay Rate:$25/hr Full Time
Now Hiring Experienced Welders!Are you an experienced Welder looking for a full-time 1st-shift opportunity where your skills are valued? We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded Welder with at least 2 years of recent welding experience to join our manufacturing team.You'll work with a variety of metal components and equipment, using your welding skills to build, repair, and produce quality products while following strict safety and quality standards. What You'll Do

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and specifications to plan welding layouts.
• Weld both small and large metal components.
• Assemble, repair, and modify metal components as needed.
• Monitor welding machinery for proper operation, temperature, and usage.
• Inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components for defects or errors.
• Identify quality issues and make appropriate adjustments or repairs.
• Operate welding equipment, electrical equipment, and various hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with repairs of machinery and equipment.
• Pull, pack, load, and move materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA-related safety practices.
• Properly use required PPE, including heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
• Perform other duties within your skill set as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of recent welding experience required.
• Strong knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Safety-minded with a strong understanding of proper welding practices.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of recent welding experience required.
• Welding certificate from an accredited institution preferred, but not required.
• Previous manufacturing or related industry experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely around high-heat equipment.
