Pay Rate: $25- $30/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Office Manager to support the daily operations of a busy office in Washington, DC. This contract opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong office management and administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, coordinating administrative functions, supporting leadership, and serving as a key point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure an organized, efficient work environment.
  • Manage office supplies, inventory, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, service requests, and workplace logistics.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership and departmental teams.
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate conference rooms.
  • Assist with onboarding activities and support employee office needs.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, mail distribution, and visitor reception.
  • Maintain office records, files, and documentation.
  • Process invoices, track expenses, and assist with basic reporting.
  • Support special projects, events, and company initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of office management, administrative, or operations experience.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience coordinating vendors, facilities, and office logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting executives or leadership teams.
  • Previous experience in a professional services, nonprofit, government, or corporate office environment.
  • Familiarity with expense tracking, invoice processing, and office budgeting.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
