We’re looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Columbia, SC . Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager , the Supply Chain Analyst will be in charge of customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. The analyst will work closely with material managers or directors to develop, implement GPSC reports, and conduct data research on trends to facilitate resolutions. What a typical day looks like: Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management, Customers, and drive sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations. Present materials value‑add to customers or suppliers and influence customers to use Flex preferred suppliers by managing component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis. Interface with customers or suppliers in new project start‑up for cost of ownership issues. Develop and guide implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans. Define and implement pricing and costing strategies by developing, implementing cost take‑down strategies, increasing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), reducing Lead‑Time (LT) and Electronic Data Interface (EDI) penetration. Track materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field. 5 years in finance, sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain management. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, electronic components markets, pricing trends, and technologies. Background in electronics manufacturing with understanding of OEM product lifecycle. Experience driving sourcing, pricing, and cost reduction strategies (e.g., PPV, material cost optimization). Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track financial performance, and support decision‑making. Effective stakeholder management and communication with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
