Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Elmhurst, NY
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR position that offers weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Northeast with excellent equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while keeping a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are designed to provide steady miles while ensuring you maintain personal and family commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if there’s safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handling dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work required, letting you focus on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,000 to $1,450 per week based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay according to customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Covering Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
