Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Corona, NY
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR role that guarantees weekly home time with minimal physical labor? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Northeast with excellent equipment and competitive pay. Enjoy the advantages of over-the-road driving while following a consistent schedule that brings you home every week.
Home Time:
- Return home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed to deliver steady miles while ensuring you have regular time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for optimal comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Focus on primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. Enjoy a role that requires minimal physical effort, allowing you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Our drivers earn an average of $1,150 weekly based on mileage and performance. Additional pay includes detention compensation based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for an accident-free record.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. All tolls are managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance starts on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. We also provide $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
