Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Astoria, NY
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR opportunity that combines weekly home time with minimal physical labor? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Northeast with outstanding equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a regular schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes ensure steady miles while allowing you to maintain regular family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems.
- You may take your assigned truck and trailer home if there’s safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work required, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings of $1,000 to $1,450 weekly based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay according to customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia. All tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
