Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately understand clients' mental health issues, crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant frameworks in your individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to support clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring they receive timely care and follow-up.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to both ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Educate clients and families about mental health topics, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions, workshops, and reading current literature in the mental health field to enhance therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in Virginia.

• Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills capable of addressing complex mental health issues.

• Have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
