- Our subscription product “Weekly Shef Service” has taken off and we are rapidly bringing on new segment of high quality, taste-tested shefs
- It’s an amazing time for new shefs to be joining – demand and earnings have never been as high or consistent
- We are also expanding this product to a few more cities across the US – so we need to acquire and onboard more high quality shefs ahead of these launches
- Your role will manage both (1) the team and (2) the process for onboarding new shefs
- You will own the experience from the moment a shef applies through the day they go live on the platform, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and excited throughout the process
- This is a high impact role overseeing some of the most critical work at the company!

- You will own the experience from the moment a shef applies through the day they go live on the platform, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and excited throughout the process
- This is a high impact role overseeing some of the most critical work at the company!
- Owning and optimizing the onboarding process which runs from initial application through being set “live” on the platform
- Managing a team of onboarding agents responsible for converting qualified applicants into active shefs
- Designing and refining sales processes to optimize conversion at various stages in the funnel
- Ensuring monthly onboarding goals are hit (primarily # of onboarded shefs)
- Coordinating with cross-functional contributors to the onboarding process, like working with our culinary lead for taste test & menu planning steps
- Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on onboarding funnel metrics, and quickly addressing problems / opportunities
- Continuously improving onboarding processes by gathering feedback, running experiments, and automating where possible
