Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments of clients to develop detailed, individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, aimed at promoting positive mental health outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and peer support specialists—to provide comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about current best practices, emerging research, and tools in the field of social work and addiction recovery, integrating new knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression, including those undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Your role will involve building trusting relationships with individuals in various stages of their recovery journey, offering empathetic support and evidence-based therapies that promote resilience and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active LCSW license issued by the state of New York.
