Business Development Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across Belgium and the Netherlands while expanding our presence in selected international markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new markets, and transforming opportunities into long-term business success. You will play a key role in driving growth across our HERO portfolio and other technical products while helping to identify and unlock new export opportunities. What You'll Be Responsible For: Deliver profitable sales growth across Belgium and the Netherlands, achieving agreed volume, revenue and margin objectives. Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase market penetration through agricultural cooperatives, distributors, merchants and other key sales channels. Build demand through customer engagement, product demonstrations, training programmes, technical support and promotional initiatives. Strengthen customer loyalty by developing trusted relationships with distributors, growers, key accounts and other industry stakeholders. Develop New Business Opportunities Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities within strategic export markets. Establish and grow successful distribution partnerships and routes-to-market. Maintain a robust pipeline of business development opportunities and convert prospects into sustainable revenue streams. Contribute to the regional growth strategy by balancing growth in established markets with expansion into new territories. Collaborate and Influence Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Technical and Supply Chain teams to deliver successful product launches and commercial initiatives. Represent Amcor at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions, enhancing our market presence and strengthening strategic partnerships. Provide market insights, competitor intelligence and accurate sales forecasting to support business planning and decision-making. Maintain up-to-date CRM records, business plans, customer visit reports and sales forecasts. What We're Looking For Experience Proven success in business development, sales or account management within the agricultural sector. Experience managing distributor networks and indirect sales channels. Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and expand new market opportunities. Experience working across multiple geographies or international markets is highly desirable. Skills Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Relationship-focused with the ability to build credibility at all levels. Results-driven with a track record of delivering sales growth and achieving ambitious targets. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
