ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical abilities and the capacity to manage complex patient cases effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and lab results.Titrate drips and manage medication administration as prescribed.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Utilize advanced medical equipment, while troubleshooting as needed.Participate in patient education and discharge planning.Assist with procedures and therapies as required.Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.QualificationsCurrent RN license in the state of practice.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Shift DetailsShift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekend Requirements: Every other weekendHoliday Requirements: A minimum of 2 holidays that fall within the contract timeframeDepartment InformationUnit Type: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)Average daily census: 16 patientsNurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2-3 for adultsCommon patient diagnoses: Trauma, cardiac conditions, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, stroke, and renal failure.Nurse Aides available based on census.Additional InformationOrientation includes 1 shift of unit-specific training.RTO (requested time off) must be communicated upfront with no more than 7 days per 13-week contract.Floating to nearby units may occur depending on patient volume.Compliance with the fingernail policy is mandatory.If you are a talented ICU Registered Nurse who meets the qualifications and is ready to provide excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply.
