Position Details Postdoctoral Associate Researcher – Taylor Lab Department: Psychology Salary: $66,000 – $69,000 (determined by qualifications, experience, grant funds, market benchmarks, and internal equity) Appointment: 1‑year full‑time, salaried, with benefits and up to $1,000 relocation stipend (if applicable) Responsibilities Design and conduct experimental work on how social identity threat affects interracial interactions, performance, and perception. Collect and analyze data using mixed‑methods research designs, including VR technology. Perform background research, literature reviews, data collection, and statistical analyses. Write papers, reports, and dissemination pieces related to lab projects. Assist the Lab Manager in coordinating the progress of SSI‑VR Lab research activities. Successful candidates will have demonstrable skills in advancing psychological research from conceptualization to publication. Qualifications Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field (or completion of dissertation by Summer 2026 if Ph.D. is incomplete). Significant training in quantitative and experimental social psychology.
