Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, meticulously documenting patient history and physical findings while adhering to department protocols.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills by performing specialized women's health procedures, including IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and pessary fittings.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals to devise and implement optimal care strategies for complex patient cases.
• Advocate for the needs of patients and their families, taking into consideration their physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive backgrounds.
• Participate in the coordination of care by maintaining strong relationships with the healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication throughout the patient experience.
• Review and manage medical records, ensuring follow-up and diagnostic study orders are completed under established protocols.
• Utilize advanced medical software systems for documentation, tracking patient progress, and effective communication within the team.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with legal standards, particularly regarding patient confidentiality and risk management.
• Handle emergency situations with composure, adhering to established emergency protocols and promptly notifying the appropriate personnel.
• Embrace a patient-centered philosophy in all interactions, ensuring that every encounter reflects our commitment to quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in Texas.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a focus on Women's Health preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, particularly in women’s health services.
• Eligibility to participate in state programs, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in providing a comprehensive range of women's health services, both in outpatient and home care settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth technologies.
• Experience in patient education, counseling, and support.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $120,000 to $220,000, depending on your experience and expertise. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
