Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced and independent clinical care to patients, leveraging your specific expertise in women’s health.
• Assess and manage a wide array of medical conditions, ensuring appropriate care for chronic stable conditions, acute situations, and routine visits.
• Implement and adhere to standardized procedures for procedures and protocols, including gynecological assessments and treatments like chemotherapy.
• Carry out both non-invasive and invasive procedures, requiring sound clinical judgment and technical proficiency.
• Exercise independent decision-making in managing patient care while consulting with attending physicians or other health team members as necessary.
• Serve as a clinical resource to other staff, mentoring nurses and supporting clinical education for residents and ancillary staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on providing comprehensive healthcare for a diverse population of women, from adolescents to seniors. The center’s holistic approach tackles preventive care, wellness education, and specialized treatment, ensuring that every patient receives personalized care tailored to their individual needs. You will participate actively in outreach and community education to promote women's health awareness.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with no restrictions.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• DEA certification must be obtained within three months of hiring.
• Demonstrated expertise in outpatient nurse practitioner settings focusing on Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong judgment and clinical acumen to meet the diverse needs of patients effectively.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills necessary for patient education and coordination with the healthcare team.
• Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills to thrive in an independent work environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in managing outpatient gynecological cases, familiarity with clinical quality improvement processes, and a background in triage will be advantageous. Applicants who have worked extensively with various patient demographics and can demonstrate innovative contributions to patient care will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
