Digital PR Specialist

Role Description

Siege Media is a growing and remote-first GEO agency. We help some of the world's most recognized brands grow visibility across traditional search and AI-driven discovery. We currently have a spot open for a talented PR Specialist to help us deliver great content for our world-class B2B clients, including leading tech and SaaS brands.

Responsibilities

• Generate creative ideas to develop as content and pitch to journalists/bloggers covering tech, SaaS, and B2B industries.
• Build media lists for a variety of B2B clients across a wide range of industry groups.
• Work with our content marketing team to create unique, proprietary data to establish our tech and SaaS clients as industry experts in their field.
• Pitch content generated by our team to news media, trade publications, and industry press for the primary purpose of generating coverage and visibility for our B2B organic growth clients.
• Monitor tech and industry news and proactively pitch new stories.
• Have a firm grasp on writing effective leads.
• Nurture and develop relationships with writers, reporters, and bloggers covering the tech and B2B space.
• Conduct comprehensive research including validating sources and finding the most recent and relevant data available.

Qualifications

• Passion for public relations, data-driven content, email outreach and media relations.
• Proven experience securing news media coverage for tech and/or SaaS clients.
• 3-5 years of agency experience in PR, supporting B2B, tech, or SaaS brands.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to form productive working relationships.
• Strong project management skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects while still working effectively.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail, i.e. near perfect grammar and strong editing skills.

Requirements

• Basic SEO knowledge (i.e. how media mentions influence search and GEO).
• Familiarity with the B2B/tech media landscape (trade publications, industry analysts, tech journalists).
• Experience using Microsoft and/or Google Workspace suites.
• Experience using a media relations tool such as Cision.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$73,500.00 DOE.
