On-Call Weekend Home Health Aide (HHA)
Good Shepherd Assisted Living / Memory Care team is looking for an On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) today! This unique opportunity requires availability for only every fourth weekend on-call. In addition to being part of a compassionate and supportive team, on-call HHAs receive a $100 stipend for each completed on-call weekend and are eligible to earn additional pickup bonuses. Looking for even more hours? Additional shifts may be available beyond your scheduled on-call weekends.
On-call duties include coverage at both the Sauk Rapids and Becker Campuses.
On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure and recreational activities
- Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and exercise
- Assist with medication administration under the direction and supervision of the RN
- Accurately document medication administration in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR)
- Report any changes in resident condition to the RN promptly
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) Benefits

On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) Schedule
- On-call HHAs will be scheduled for on-call every fourth weekend and every fourth holiday
- On-call hours are from 4:00 PM Friday to 8:00 AM Monday
On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred
- Must be Active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry - OR - provide certificate of completion from an approved 75-hour Nursing Assistant course
- Must be at least 18 years old
