School Occupational Therapist - Auburn, Washington

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state OT license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience providing OT services in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt creatively to diverse student needs
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings as part of the educational team
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Contribute to positive school climate through consultation, coaching, and resource sharing
