Glue Machine Operator

We’re hiring a Gluer Operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot gluing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Vega gluing machine
• Monitor quality of finished products
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting
• Complete production documentation

Requirements:

• Digital printing experience required
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the Vega gluing machine to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Oversee feeding, folding, and gluing operations to identify machine malfunctions and maintain consistent quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects and verify conformance to job specifications and work orders.
• Perform minor maintenance, adjustments, calibrations, and repairs to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Accurately complete production paperwork and maintain required documentation for each job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Meet established production deadlines and performance objectives for each shift.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time

Skills

• machine operator (1 year of experience is preferred)
