What You'll Do

• Perform routine preventative maintenance across residential and administrative properties.
• Complete general building repairs, including drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC, smoke detectors, fire alarm systems, sump pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain accurate work orders and service records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Ensure facilities meet all safety standards and remain clean, secure, and operational.
• Assist with seasonal responsibilities such as snow removal and weather-related facility preparation.
• Travel between multiple company locations to complete scheduled maintenance and repair work.
• Support facility improvement projects and other operational initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property management, construction, or a skilled trade.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and perform repairs independently.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and the ability to travel between sites.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance situations when needed.
