Salesforce CRMA Tableau Sr Lead Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of applied Salesforce development and/or analytics experience, including substantial hands-on work with Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA/Tableau CRM) and/or Tableau.
• We need strong practical experience designing, building, and tuning CRMA/Tableau dashboards, datasets, dataflows/recipes, and security predicates in a large enterprise setting.
• We require deep knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom objects, and how to create analytics-ready structures and transformations.
• We need strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration to support analytics use cases, including embedding CRMA/Tableau components into Lightning pages and apps.
• We require solid experience building Salesforce Lightning UI and Lightning Web Components, including dashboard and component embedding within Salesforce experiences.
• We need experience designing and implementing connectivity and integration solutions such as REST APIs, messaging, data transfers, ETL/ELT, plus a strong understanding of authentication and integration patterns like OAuth2, connected apps, caching, and asynchronous processing.
• We require demonstrated experience with AI/ML SDLC, including design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
• We need the ability to build robust reports, dashboards, and monitoring processes to track data quality, integrity, and usage across CRMA/Tableau and Salesforce, and to translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and dashboard designs.
• We require demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to set expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We need a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations, with experience coaching senior engineers or leads on compliant usage patterns and controls.
• Salesforce certifications are preferred, such as CRM Analytics and Discovery Consultant (Tableau CRM), Platform Developer I/II, or Administrator/relevant cloud certifications.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop/Server/Cloud in addition to CRMA/Tableau CRM is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar is preferred.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and data platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, data lakes, or data warehouses, and experience working with MLOps or data science teams to operationalize AI/ML models, is preferred.

• We execute end-to-end software and analytics solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, for Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA/Tableau CRM) and Tableau, building scalable, data-driven solutions for complex technical challenges.
• We design and develop secure, high-quality production code, data pipelines, and analytics assets such as dashboards, lenses, datasets, and recipes that work seamlessly with Salesforce and connected systems.
• We create architecture and design artifacts for advanced analytics and AI-driven applications, ensuring performance, security, scalability, and governance requirements are met.
• We gather, analyze, synthesize, and deliver advanced visualizations, dashboards, and reporting from large and diverse data sets to support process improvement, customer insights, and system performance.
• We promote adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational results, while reinforcing secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and reuse of proven patterns and automation.
• We apply knowledge of software development life cycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered through automation at scale.
• We partner with product owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into analytics solutions, including KPIs, data models, and AI-driven recommendations.
• We proactively identify hidden issues and patterns in data, dashboards, and integrations, and drive remediation and optimization across data quality, performance, and user experience.
• We contribute to software engineering and analytics communities of practice by sharing best practices in CRMA/Tableau, data modeling, AI/ML integration, and emerging Salesforce technologies.
• We mentor junior developers and analysts, providing technical guidance on CRMA/Tableau, Salesforce development, and AI-enabled analytics solutions while supporting a collaborative, learning-oriented culture.
