Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

A leading firm in the Midwest is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support their Labor & Employment practice in San Diego. This role will assist attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Support Labor & Employment matters from inception through trial
\n
• Conduct factual investigations and case analysis
\n
• Manage document collection, review, ESI, and productions
\n
• Coordinate privilege review, Bates stamping, and quality control
\n
• Draft and manage subpoenas
\n
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
\n
• Prepare exhibits, witness binders, demonstratives, and trial materials
\n
• Manage court deadlines, calendars, and docketing
\n
• Coordinate with court reporters, vendors, and eDiscovery providers
\n
• Support witness coordination, exhibit management, and courtroom technology
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 5+ years of Labor & Employment litigation paralegal experience
\n
• Experience in both state and federal courts
\n
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate required
\n
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
\n
• Experience with ESI and eDiscovery
\n
• Proficiency with Westlaw and Adobe Acrobat
\n
• Experience with Everlaw, TrialDirector, CaseMap, or similar litigation tools
\n
• Experience supporting depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
\n
