Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary interviews that assess clients' mental health histories and document their cases meticulously from the initial consultation through to completion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health using validated assessment tools and clinical interviews.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring plans align with best practices in mental health counseling.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that reflect the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Regularly review and monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to plans as needed to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with a team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create integrated treatment strategies.

• Follow up with clients admitted to hospitals to provide continuity of care and ensure ongoing mental health support during critical recovery phases.

• Identify and address behaviors or conditions that may hinder recovery, offering proactive interventions to promote client engagement.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to respond to and manage mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling services cater to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including families and groups facing various mental health challenges. You will work primarily with adult clients, each presenting unique needs and situations, which may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is vital in facilitating their journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A solid foundation of experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a commitment to client care.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, ideally AVATAR, for effective client management and documentation.
\n
• A thorough understanding of addiction disorders and the interplay between physical and emotional health conditions.

• Extensive knowledge of the effects and interactions of medication prescribed by healthcare specialists.

Compensation and Benefits\n
