Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations by interviewing clients and gathering relevant information to understand their needs from initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices in psychotherapy and cater to the specific goals of clients.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based interventions to foster growth, resilience, and recovery.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress rigorously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to devise comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Remain proactive in your approach by following up with healthcare providers involved in the care of clients when necessary.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing guidance on navigating mental health challenges within the home.

• Manage referrals to additional mental health services as needed and maintain up-to-date documentation of treatment progress in electronic health records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The demographic you will serve encompasses a diverse range of individuals experiencing various mental health and behavioral challenges. Our clients include children, adolescents, adults, and families seeking psychological support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Your ability to connect with various age groups and cultural backgrounds will be vital in fostering positive therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically experience with programs such as AVATAR.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, alongside a compassionate approach to counseling.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Experience working with clients facing complex emotional health conditions and addiction issues.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Sound understanding of the effects of psychotropic medications and their usage in treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
