Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations to gather client data and history.
\n
• Document all cases meticulously, tracking the progress from the initial assessment throughout treatment, ensuring that all updates are clear and accessible in the electronic health record.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for a range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups based on the identified needs and treatment goals.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that adhere to evidence-based practices and encourage client participation.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with therapeutic goals and outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to devise comprehensive intervention strategies for clients requiring a broader support network.
\n
• Manage referral processes effectively, ensuring clients receive the necessary resources for comprehensive care.
\n
• Assist and support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, facilitating education about mental health issues.
\n
• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your ability to understand and relate to their unique experiences will be crucial in providing effective care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Successful passage of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong knowledge of clinical practices and an understanding of psychotherapy techniques and interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably within a community health setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage patient documentation efficiently.

• Experience or expertise in treating clients with co-occurring physical health and mental health disorders.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders and their impact on mental health.
\n
• Experience in working collaboratively with medical professionals to manage client care more effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role includes a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous base salary, we offer:
