Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Broward Physical Therapy, you will have a number of critical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' physical abilities using diagnostic and prognostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capacities.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on client evaluations, physician referrals, and best practice guidelines.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring proper compliance with treatment plans, and mentoring them in delivering high-quality care.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and other modalities while instructing clients in non-manual exercises and functional activities.
• Regularly evaluating the home environment and making recommendations to enhance client independence and well-being.
• Documenting clinical records including OASIS assessments, care plans, and progress notes, and ensuring timely submission according to organizational policies.
• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to refine client care strategies.
• Engaging with clients and their families to educate them on therapy programs, equipment usage, and overall health management.

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and requiring rehabilitative services following injury or illness. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Physical Therapist position will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid PT license in the state of New Jersey.
• At least two years of applicable experience in a physical therapy setting, with a preference for experience in acute or home care environments.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence, with the ability to advocate for patients and lead care initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on interpersonal interactions and patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your contributions, Broward Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
