Senior Staff Accountant

Job Description A great manufacturing company in Simi Valley CA is hiring for a Senior Staff Accountant. We\'re seeking an exceptional Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team in Simi Valley, CA, and to work under the guidance of our Corporate Controller. You\'ll be instrumental in maintaining our financial integrity while contributing to our continued expansion. What You\'ll Do: Manage critical banking functions, including daily cash reporting, Positive Pay and various payment initiation processes (ACH, International and Domestic Wires, etc). Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for several accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts; prepare and record journal entries. Analyze and reconcile key balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Code monthly company credit card activity to proper GL expense accounts. Provide crucial support to AP and AR teams, demonstrating your versatility. Support month-end and year-end close processes, and external audits as needed. Create regular and ad-hoc reporting as needed using Excel spreadsheets. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
