As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

DayTimeWed03:30 PM - 11:30 PMThur03:30 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, maintain accurate activity logs, and report observations through established reporting channels.
- Assist with directing visitors, providing general campus information, and supporting a welcoming educational environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
