Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Hillsdale Behavioral Health Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, creating tailored treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that address common issues among participants, fostering connection and community.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to meet all state and organizational requirements, promoting accountability and continuity of care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, engaging in case reviews and interdisciplinary meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health challenges. This includes individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Our center emphasizes a trauma-informed approach and respects the individuality of each client’s experience, valuing their input in the therapy process to enhance treatment efficacy and outcomes.

Qualifications\n

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical counseling environment, providing therapeutic support.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the following specialties are highly preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
