The Operations Analyst position I is a skilled position in the Finance and Accounting department of the Florida Department of Health Lee County. This position is under the supervision of the Finance and accounting Administrator SES. The incumbent will be responsible for the application of professional accounting techniques and perform various clerical and administrative activities working closely with the Finance and Accounting Administrator, as well as providing support in the day-to-to-today operations of the organization. Operations Analyst I Responsible for a semiannually review the internal control and segregation of duties of DOH Lee Monitors medicine inventories at the clinics on a quarterly basis. Technician for Swim Voucher Program, receive applications, verify eligibility and assign vouchers. Manage the budget for the Swim program, tracking and reconciling transactions. Prepare PO, SOW and reports. Uploads Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from insurance companies daily to the Sarasota Billing Hub for processing. Collaborate with the Billing liaison with the HMS reports. Assist with Insurance verification. Continuous quality improvement for billing including but not limited to daily billing audits; provider reports (coding errors, documentation issues, etc.) and provides feedback on findings to Management. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Assists Billing Operations Analysts I as needed. Finance Support Back up for receiving, distributing, and keeping track of invoices for accounting and mail for all DOH Departments. Assist with EARS/payroll reallocation report. Run monthly Revenue/Expenses report to find organization codes error. Analize correlation between OCAs and billing codes. Attends in-serviced and participates in conference calls, meetings, and training pertinent to the responsibilities of this position. Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to locate information that is listed alphabetically & numerically. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to review data for accuracy & completeness. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Ability to work indoors with occasional temperature changes.
