Lesker Company, you'll manufacture precision, engineered-to-order components where accuracy, craftsmanship, and problem-solving matter. In this hands-on role, you'll set up and operate vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines, machining complex metallic and non-metallic parts to tight tolerances.This position is ideal for an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys challenging work, collaborating with engineering, and producing high-quality custom parts in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment.Job Details:Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd (Monday - Friday)Type of Employment: Full-timeLocation: Jefferson Hills, PADivision/Department: Manufacturing /Machine ShopReports to: CNC SupervisorKey Responsibilities:Perform complex machining operations on CNC milling machines (vertical and horizontal)Read, understand, and troubleshoot G-codeMentor and support other machinists in resolving complex machining challengesApply extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Produce quality parts efficiently while meeting production schedulesVerify conformance of finished parts using precision measuring instrumentsCollaborate with Machinists, Engineers, and Project Managers to solve problems and improve processesSafely operate overhead cranes and lifting equipmentMaintain compliance with safety, quality, and shop standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Required:4+ years of CNC machining experience in a machine shop environment OR completion of Journeyman papers plus 2 years of experienceAdvanced knowledge of CNC machining techniques and milling practicesStrong machinist math skills, including trigonometry and geometryProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and GD&TProficient with precision measuring toolsAbility to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs unassistedHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred:Experience with 3+2 axis machiningExperience using MastercamCNC programming experience or capabilityAssociate's degree in a related technical fieldBenefits and Awards:Insurance & Financial: Comprehensive Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and Disability Insurance; 401K Match; Flexible Spending PlanWork-Life Balance: Paid Time Off; Employee Engagement and Sustainability ProgramsRecognition: PBT's Best Places to Work; Business Ethics Award; Advanced Manufacturing AwardCompensation: Competitive WagesWhy Kurt J.
