Remote Email Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Write clear, courteous email replies that resolve customer questions on the first contact whenever possible
• Review and sort incoming messages by urgency so time-sensitive issues are handled first
• Search the internal knowledge base and product documentation to confirm accurate answers
• Hand off complicated or sensitive cases to senior team members with complete context
• Log every customer interaction and outcome in the ticketing platform
• Apply the company's brand voice and tone in each message you send
• Flag repeated customer pain points and share observations with the support lead
• Meet established targets for response time, resolution rate, and quality scores
• Suggest edits to help center articles and saved reply templates to keep them current
• Partner with teammates over chat and video to solve cases together

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; some college coursework is a plus
• Exceptional writing skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Comfortable typing quickly and switching between several applications at once
• Self-motivated and able to stay productive in a remote work setting
• Working knowledge of email, web browsers, and chat tools
• Careful attention to detail and willingness to follow documented processes
• Calm, empathetic, and patient when dealing with upset customers
• Dependable high-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
• Previous customer service experience is welcome but not required
