Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Towaco, NJ. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including performing inspections, diagnostics, and adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation. The technician will conduct troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and control issues, complete preventive maintenance tasks, and document all work performed in service reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to service calls, coordinating with team members and supervisors, following safety and environmental regulations, and communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommended solutions. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC and refrigeration systems, including diagnostics and problem resolution. Solid knowledge of electricity and electrical components related to HVAC systems. Experience with preventive maintenance practices for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. Basic plumbing skills for condensate and related piping work. EPA certification for handling refrigerants and compliance with environmental regulations. Previous experience as an HVAC technician in commercial or industrial environments. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders. Comfort working on-site, including climbing ladders, lifting moderate loads, and working in varying temperatures. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational HVAC training is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
