Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading distributor of interior finish commercial building materials in search of an Estimator/Project Coordinator. This role combines material estimating, project coordination, and client relationship management to support commercial construction projects from bid through completion. What You'll Do as a Estimator/Project Coordinator

• Review construction plans, specifications, and bid requests to prepare accurate material estimates and pricing proposals
• Coordinate project materials, procurement, deliveries, timelines, and client communications from award through completion
• Submit bids, RFIs, substitutions, submittals, and closeout documentation while ensuring deadlines are met
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, project follow-up, and account visits
• Track estimating, sales, and margin metrics while identifying opportunities to grow business within existing accounts

What You Need to Bring to the Estimator/Project Coordinator role:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in material estimating, project coordination, or a related field
• 3-5 years of estimating, project coordination, sales, or construction industry experience
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software, and other business technologies, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
