Work Environment This role is entirely remote, supporting a telehealth facility that embraces technology to facilitate patient interactions. You will engage in comprehensive telehealth practices that allow flexibility and uphold the highest standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' specific needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques specific to each client's cultural and emotional context. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding participants through mental health challenges, enhancing their coping strategies, and fostering resilience. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during these high-stress situations. Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. Maintain precise and confidential documentation per legal and ethical regulations, ensuring easy access to client records for continuity of care. Participate actively in team case conferences and training sessions, focusing on cultural competency and professional growth. Keep abreast of current research, treatment methods, and cultural significance within mental health therapy to ensure best practices are in place. You will work with individuals facing various mental health challenges. Each client brings unique perspectives shaped by their background—whether that is due to cultural heritage, sexual orientation, or immigration experience—and your role will be crucial in fostering an inclusive and adaptive therapeutic relationship. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current, valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California. A profound understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, as well as cultural competence in therapy. Demonstrated experience delivering individual and group therapy with an emphasis on culturally responsive and inclusive practices. Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in challenging and complex situations. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with a diverse array of clients. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools. Preferred Experience Prior work experience in a telehealth setting, providing familiarity with remote counseling techniques and technologies. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
