Job Description
HENRY FORD ST. JOHN IS LOOKING FOR A MFM LOCUM TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!
*Candidates interested in locum-to-perm options are welcome and would be given first preference

Details:
Coverage beginning January 1, 2027, with full-time coverage needed through approximately January 24, 2027. Part-time/twice-monthly coverage after January
Primarily based at Henry Ford St. John
Level III NICU
Volume: L&D/inpatient volume 0-5 patients/day; averaging 2
Approximately 3,000 deliveries annually
MFM service supports both high- and low-risk obstetric patients
Reason for coverage: 1 provider leaving
Potential coverage at Henry Ford Warren as needed - This will be Outpatient only, with Tues/Thurs half day.
1 Sonographer, 1 machine, up to 8 ultrasounds/day
High-Risk Resident Clinic - half-day per week, typically 4-7 patients

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, Nightly Call Coverage weekdays, 24 hour call coverage weekends (includes phone consults)
In-house weekday coverage across outpatient ultrasound and inpatient consult needs
After January: anticipated recurring coverage approximately twice monthly:
In-house Thursday-Friday
Call Saturday-Sunday
Please note: Call back is very minimal (~1/call shift if any)
Clinical Responsibilities:
Review/round on inpatient maternal-fetal medicine patients with residents
Provide inpatient consults and phone consultations; in-person evaluation available when clinically needed
Supervise residents in high-risk OB clinic at Warren as needed
Interpret/manage ultrasound services and related consults- locum is expected to interpret ultrasounds
No delivery coverage, GYN surgery, or GYN call coverage expected
Required Procedures:
Amniocentesis
Cerclage, including rescue cerclage
External cephalic version (ECV)
Preferred Procedures:
Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 Days
