Respiratory Therapist II - Non-NICU, Full-Time

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for medication administration, respiratory care, and patient assessment in complex critical care settings. Key Duties Delivering patient care, including ventilator management, airway care, and aerosolized medication administration. Performing assessments, collaborating with healthcare teams, and verifying orders. Providing patient, family, and staff education; mentoring new employees and students. Ensuring a safe, high-quality environment by promoting accurate documentation, patient safety, and evidence-based practices. Participating in invasive and diagnostic procedures as needed. Supporting performance improvement initiatives and adhering to organizational policies. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS required upon hire. 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care. Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, with ability to establish effective professional relationships.
