Respiratory Therapist II - Full-Time

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in complex care settings, primarily critical care areas. Key Duties Perform patient assessments, collaborate with healthcare teams, and verify orders for therapies such as aerosolized medications, ventilator management, and airway procedures. Manage ventilator settings, interpret waveforms, and conduct arterial blood gas analysis. Provide patient and family education, mentor new staff, and assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures. Ensure safe, high-quality care by promoting accurate documentation, medication safety, and participation in performance improvement initiatives. Support a positive team environment and foster professional development. Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS (required at hire). 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care. Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships.
