SECRETARY Pre-Admission Testing 40 HR Day Shift (8:30am-5pm)-Fox Chase

Secretary Pre-Admission Testing

Provides secretarial services and support to the Pre-Admission staff and assists the staff in the implementation of daily activities. Functions as a receptionist demonstrating excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, visitors and hospital personnel. Communicates with surgeon's office and clinic nurse to obtain necessary information regarding patients scheduled for surgery at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Screens all patients for anesthesia needs. Attempts to schedule patients for preadmission testing two weeks prior to surgery or earlier.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Associate's Degree Preferred.

Experience: 2 years experience in a secretarial or clerical/general office position Required. 1 year experience in a healthcare setting Preferred.
