Collections Specialist

LHH recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Collections Specialist job for the corporate office located in West Sacramento, California. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate should have 2 years of collections experience. The role will be responsible for handling a portfolio of clients, B2B collections, monitoring past due balances, contacting customers regarding outstanding invoices, supporting timely resolution of billing, payment , and account discrepancies, prioritize work based on the aging and any changes in the aging, engaging clients with phone calls and emails, reconciling accounts, and assist with any projects as assigned.


Qualifications:
- Strong collections experience
- Negotiation and conflict resolution
- Comfortable engaging clientele on the phone and email
- Excellent communications skills and great at building and maintaining client relationships
- Solid knowledge of accounting understanding your general accounting debits and credits
- Strong account reconciliation skills and a problem-solver
- Able to work independently and be part of a team
- Reliable, a positive attitude, and dedicated
- Attention to detail, analytical, and organized
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 2 years of experience in Collections (Collections Specialist, Accounts Receivable)
Employment Type: Temporary (Possible Conversion to Perm Status)
