Shifts Available: 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) | 2nd Shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) | 3rd Shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM)

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a skilled Process Technician to support manufacturing operations by ensuring production equipment runs safely, efficiently, and consistently.
In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot equipment, perform machine setups and process adjustments, monitor product quality, and work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to maximize production performance.

What You'll Do
Production & Equipment Operations
• Operate, monitor, and optimize assigned production equipment
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and process adjustments
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
• Perform minor equipment repairs and identify when additional maintenance support is needed
• Safely start up, operate, and shut down production equipment
Quality & Continuous Improvement
• Inspect products using precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers
• Monitor process performance and ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Support Food Safety, GMP, SQF, and Quality Management System requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity
• Assist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions when required
Documentation & Team Collaboration
• Complete production, maintenance, and quality documentation accurately and on time
• Monitor and record critical process parameters throughout each shift
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to resolve production issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You'll Bring
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–3 years of manufacturing, machine operation, or technical experience preferred
• Plastics manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read work instructions, technical documents, and production schedules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and production software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, reach, kneel, and lift as part of daily responsibilities
• Safely operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools
• Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and machine noise
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
