Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic team at our facility in Des Moines, IA, 50323. As a Lab Technician in our factory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes. If you have a passion for science and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Sets up and calibrates HPLC/GC testing equipment.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Document and report test results accurately and promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing procedures and protocols.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Associate's degree in Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience utilizing HPLC/GC instruments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
You should be proficient in:
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Basic Computer Skills
