Specifically focused on Functional/Electrical Interface Development. As a Systems Engineer, member for the SEIT Interface team, you will: Work as liaison between a diverse array of teams from several technical disciplines both within and outside of Lockheed MartinFacilitate and coordinate technical discussions regarding translation of the system requirements and architecture into a set of agreements on critical design parameters for each party to meet in order to fulfill customer needsEvaluate, communicate, document, and maintain the agreed upon design solution between teamsFocus on the functional/electrical interfaces (electrical/signal definitions, wiring diagrams/schematics, circuit diagrams) between systems and subsystems in a highly complex system-of- systems environmentWork both independently and as part of an integrated team to execute detailed action plans to accomplish major efforts involving multiple teamsDevelop CAMEO models of the subsystem and interfacesSupport requirements reviews, and other model based system engineering activities relevant to the interface The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Basic QualificationsExperience working with various engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, safety, test, etc.) to develop System Engineering ProductsExperience in design, integration and/or test of electrical systemsMust have a Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship required Desired SkillsExperience in Python or VTL (Velocity Template Language) Experience in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practiceExperience in CAMEO (or other Model Based System Engineering Tool)Experience in generation of high-level interconnect diagrams using electrical or cabling software tools (such as Zuken E3)Experience in Atlassian Tools (Confluence and Jira) Knowledge in Systems Engineering concepts and processesWriting requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval processExcellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to create consensus among peers while forming relationships with team membersKnowledge of DOORSKnowledge of CAMEOKnowledge of RequirementsKnowledge of MBSEKnowledge of InterfacesExperience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environmentExperience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)Strong understanding of systems engineering principles Active Top Secret clearance Interview QuestionsInnovation: Can you give an example of an idea you introduced that was implemented?
