TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This full-time position plays a crucial role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them restore motion and achieve optimal physical function. Work Environment

This is an onsite position focused on home care environments, meaning you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients in their residential settings, providing personalized therapy that aligns with their home routines. Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while ensuring full attention to patient care. You will collaborate with a dedicated team consisting of other licensed physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all committed to fostering a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient goals and requirements, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour to provide focused care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of orthopedic treatment modalities designed to improve clients' mobility and enhance their quality of life.
• Deliver cost-effective physical therapy interventions that minimize medication reliance and provide alternatives to surgical procedures.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs, promoting independence in daily activities.
• Utilize your expertise to motivate patients throughout their treatment, while providing ongoing support and encouragement.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and maintain clear communication with clients and. other healthcare professionals for holistic care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided clearly and thoroughly, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. The diversity of our clientele allows you to employ a broad array of treatment methodologies, adapting your approach to suit various needs ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent field, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record, free from any board or disciplinary actions against the practice license.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques, proficient in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to manage patient data efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is desirable.
• Proven ability to design individualized therapeutic programs aimed at improving patients' physical capabilities.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
