R&D Laboratory Technician

R&D Laboratory Technician pH Matter, LLC is a small business developing materials for advanced energy storage and aerospace applications. The company specializes in development of catalysts and carbon nano-materials, and manufactures components for batteries, fuel cells, and electrolysis equipment. We have a need for a research and development laboratory technician who will assist with the preparation of components and perform testing. Candidates should have strong interest in working in an R&D environment and be comfortable with a laboratory setting. The position will be full-time with benefits and a competitive salary. Responsibilities include : Perform batch calculations to support material synthesis Use wet chemistry techniques to prepare catalysts Operate equipment for synthesis of carbon nano-materials Assemble fuel cells and lithium ion batteries Perform analyses and statistical comparisons of results to contribute to technical reports Perform QC testing of products, compounds, or batches Maintain, operate, and calibrate laboratory equipment, including necessary supplies Qualifications: Associates degree or higher in chemistry or related field is desired Attention to detail and ability to work safely in a lab environment is essential.
