Back Financial Systems Analyst Other Akron , Ohio Contract On-Site Jul 27, 2026 Financial Systems Analyst Location: Hybrid (Akron, OH; Greensburg, PA; Wheeling, WV; Fairmont, WV; or Morristown, NJ) Contract: 24-month contract with potential for extension or full-time hire Pay: $36/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match What You'll Do Work with Finance and business teams to understand reporting needs. Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Analyze budgets, forecasts, expenses, and financial trends. Build and update Power BI dashboards for leadership teams. Automate reports and improve reporting processes. Write SQL queries to pull, validate, and analyze data. Help maintain and improve data reporting systems, including Databricks. Ensure reporting data is accurate and reliable. Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree). 1-3+ years of experience in financial reporting, business analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related area. Strong SQL skills. Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI (or similar tools). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Databricks. Experience with Python, Pandas, or similar analytics tools. Familiarity with Azure data and analytics tools. Experience working with data from multiple business systems. Experience with ERP, financial, or operational data platforms. Experience in utilities, manufacturing, financial services, or other large corporate environments.
