Job Summary
A Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in a facility located in Carthage, Tennessee. The role involves providing obstetric and neonatal care within the Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units. The position offers an opportunity to work in a critical access hospital setting focused on maternity and newborn care, with a focus on supporting women and their newborns during the childbirth process.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure in Tennessee, ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP certifications, and at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS, Centricity, and Meditech experience (not required), experience in couplet care, fetal monitoring skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  Candidates must be able to perform in the Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum units. Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. The unit has 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds, with a patient ratio of 1:2. The unit serves maternity women and newborns, providing care for a diverse patient population. Candidates must meet Tennessee-specific checks, including the Tennessee Abuse Registry, prior to start.
