Packaging Assembler

Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and prepare packaging products according to established specifications and work instructions.Operate production and packaging equipment safely after proper training.Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.Fold, glue, assemble, package, label, and stack finished products as required.Identify damaged, defective, or improperly assembled products and notify the appropriate supervisor.Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting quality and productivity expectations.Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.Properly handle materials, finished products, and production supplies.Work cooperatively with other team members and assist with production tasks as needed.Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Complete required production and quality paperwork.Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.Ability to follow instructions and work safely around production equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and lift.Ability to lift and move materials and finished products as required.Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and normal production noise.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
